Terms of Service
Last updated July 15, 2026
Acceptance
By playing PilotWord — on pilotword.com or through our Discord app — you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. PilotWord is operated by Brandon J. Dorsey (“we,” “us”).
The service
PilotWord is a free, daily aviation-themed word game. A new puzzle is published each day, and you can play on the website or inside Discord (including multiplayer “play with friends” features). We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use PilotWord (and to meet Discord’s minimum age for the Discord app, older where required by local law).
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts, or automation to gain an unfair advantage or to obtain unreleased answers;
- scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the game, its word lists, or its content except as expressly allowed;
- disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
- use PilotWord for any unlawful purpose.
Discord features
When you use PilotWord inside Discord, you are also bound by Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. PilotWord is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Discord Inc.
Intellectual property
The PilotWord name, logo, design, puzzle selections, and content are owned by us. We grant you a personal, non-commercial, revocable license to play the game. You may share your own results (for example, the emoji/result grid) but may not copy or redistribute the game itself.
Your content & identity
To provide multiplayer features, you permit us to display your Discord display name, avatar, and spoiler-safe game progress to other players in the same game session and in the group recap. You are responsible for your conduct while using the service.
Availability & “as is”
PilotWord is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the game will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and a daily puzzle may occasionally be unavailable.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PilotWord. PilotWord is a free game provided for entertainment.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service, or any part of it, at any time — including for violations of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of PilotWord after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above when we make changes.
